Conversion Strategist (Freelance)

Camp Wonderful is looking for an expert in developing conversion strategies and testing plans. The ideal candidate has deep experience conducting conversion audits, analyzing website usability and developing efficient test scenarios that lead to enhanced site performance. Can communicate effectively at all levels to drive business change. Has exploited the latest technologies for personalization and optimization to drive business outcomes. Is a creative, highly analytical professional who can work to extract every nugget of information from the customer journey and author a user experience that drives conversion. Someone who can work independently to rapidly prototype solutions and implement predictive modeling systems that drive substantial gains.   

The ideal candidate will go beyond basic reporting in order to provide valuable learnings, feedback and recommendations. This will require a keen eye to detail and love for problem solving by peeling away the layers of data and suggesting constructive hypotheses, test design plans, advanced analytics engagements, consumer experience deep dives, and competitive opportunities to improve business performance on a regular basis. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop data-driven conversion strategies and user experience strategies based on customer segmentation analysis and customer behavior

  • Be a thought leader in the area of Conversion Optimization by staying on top of trends in marketing and conversion optimization technology

  • Understand and develop strategies to react to shifts in online behavior

  • Optimize campaigns and ensure timely deliverables that meet expectations and drive ROI

  • Formulate and effectively communicate business solution recommendations

  • Implement multivariate testing strategies for dynamic landing pages and other dynamic site content

  • Implement audience profiling and content personalization strategies to drive onversion

  • Serve as a conversion analytics expert with knowledge of competitive information and industry best practices to provide insight for website performance

Qualifications and Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science or related area; Masters or PhD degree in a numerate discipline is a strong plus

  • 5+ years of experience with conversion analytics and testing tools, web-development, UX and digital media

  • Extensive experience with dynamic landing page management and content personalization strategies

  • Experience with Google Analytics and Omniture Site-Catalyst administration and site tagging

  • Working knowledge of best-in-class conversion testing platforms (Adobe Target, Google Optimize, Optimizely, Dynamic Yield, Monetate, Oracle Maxymiser)

  • Possess good organizational and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing and web site conversion
